Text on a Path

I didn't know it was this easy!

Open a new image 600x600
(You know me, I like lots of room to work)

This smile face is a tube.
Here it is if you want to use it.

Add the image you want to use.

Click on the Line tool (pencil icon)

Open the Tool Palette. Be sure the
Create as a Vector is Checked.
(This is the magic)

I drew a half circle around the
happy faces head.

The line will be outlined as shown.
Click on the text tool.
Move the Text Icon over the line.
See how it changes into a rocking symbol when you
move the text icon over it?

This is easier to see.

Click where you want to start.
Then type in your text.
Font type and color.
Keep it floating. (Checked)

You did it!

Add a shadow

We don't want the trace line to show.
It's layer 2. Notice the box in from of it?

Just right click on the line layer and delete

Super!
