Add Color to
the Borders
Start with my pre-made
lines and scallops
Or make your own.

I made my
Pedestal
background into a tube.
Makes making
backgrounds a snap!

Open a New
Image

Drag the 3layer
border
to that new image.

duplicated it

Mirror the
duplicated one.

Space the
borders
to the width you want.

X the view of
layer one.
With layer two active (Blue)
Merge Visible

Use the
selection tool
to outline.
CTRL C ---CTRL V
To copy and paste
as a new layer

Export as a
tube

Now back to the
multi color bars.
Use the selection tool
to outline the single bar area
Add a New Layer

CTRL
C CTRL V
to copy and
paste as a new image

Flood Fill with
a color

Drag the color
strip
from the layer palette
to the main image.

Right click to
Duplicate it,
drag down to
Position under the bars.

ZOOM in close to
make sure there
are no gaps at the
top or bottom.
This is where seams will show.
Here you can see that there
is too much color,
just erase it.

It should look
Like this.

Click on layer
one.
Flood fill with a color.

Looks the
same....
Give it a texture.

Neat HUH?

How to make the
center
area the solid color.

Follow the same
steps as above

Make SURE there
are no gaps

Simply change
texture and color
to make countless
backgrounds.
