Masks and Graphics
I scanned this from a book I
used
in my rubberstamping days.

On the layer palette,
DUPLICATE
Then DELETE the original background.

Add a layer.
CLICK-HOLD DRAG
this new layer to the worktop.
Delete the blank layer from
Copy of Background.
Now you have two images exactly the same size.
One blank, one with the image.
Flood fill the blank image with black.
Click on Masks: New: From Image.

Click on the name of the Copy of
Background.

Here it is.

Click on Masks:
Delete mask.

Yes.

Here is another. The original had
color.

Here I added a shadow.
Use these settings.
And change the color.
You will get great effects!

Here I added a second shadow.
same settings except I blurred it to 6.5

Here is a plain black image.
