New 2 PSP?
Here are some getting started basics.
Many don't know that the
tool bars can be moved or 'Docked'
to different places.
I don't like the toolbar at the side like this.
You can lose some icons at the bottom.
Simply Left click on the bar,
Hold the mouse button down,
and drag to the right. The bar un-docks.

You can let it 'float' but I don't like that.
Click and hold the button down,
drag it toward the top bar.

When undocked, the outline is fuzzy.

When ready to 'dock' you will
notice the line become solid and defined.

Once docked, you can slide the bar by moving here.

The options I use frequently, I have as icons.
When you find out what you use,
you can add or delete from the bar
By right clicking ON the bar, Customize.

Click on an icon you want, click add,
and it will move to the toolbar.
Reverse to remove the icons.

Icons can be moved to the position you want.

Ok. Done with that.
Click on New

Stationery width is 1025 pixels.
This is to accommodate larger monitors.
You don't want the background to
repeat on the far right side.
It ruins the effect.
I always start with a transparent background.

Click OK
We want to fill the new image with a
color.
Click on the foreground color (brown here)
The color wheel pops up.
pick a color you like.

Click on the bucket fill

Two icons I use all the time are
the Tool Palette and the Layer Palette.

Tool Palette
We want to fill the new image with a solid color.
As you can see you have many other options here too.

Click on the TUBE brush.
![]()
Tubes are images that are transparent,
and ready to resize and add.
You will see your tubes in the Tool Palette.
Drop down the window to see more tubes.
