Playing With Text

Open an image
300x300
transparent background

Add some text using the text icon.
check Vector/Antialias
Size as you need.
Right click on the layer/convert to Raster

Click on the selection tool and drag
around the text.

Click on the text and the marquee
will surround the text.

Selections/Modify

Expand 2 pixels

you will lose the floating text but
the marquee will be correct.

Hide layer 2 (the text)
Click on layer 1 to make it active (blue)

Flood fill layer 1 with black

Un X layer two

Click on layer 2 to make it active.

X out layer 1

Use the selection tool and surround the text on layer 2 again.
Click on the text to select it again.

Now the FUN!!

give the text a gold preset in blade pro......

Or fill the selection with sparkles and bevel for a beautiful effect.

This is filled with a flare tube and beveled.

Here a poinsettia tube.

Pretty soon you aren't going to need me anymore
