Cloning Frames

Open a new transparent image 400 wide 500 tall.

Open the flowers you want to use as the frame and the image to frame.

I pasted an image in the center. Click on the selection tool
Eclipse, no feather. Make an Oval in the center as shown.

Invert the selection.
(as shown)
Click on the clone brush.

This is the setting I Used.

Right click on the flowers with the clone brush.

Hold the mouse button down as you move the mouse.
The flowers will paint from one image to the other.

Release the button and hold it
down again to restart the paint position.

Paint the bottom of the frame with the flowers.

Rotate the flowers and paint the side of the frame.

Cloning is very forgiving. If you make a mistake,
just clone over it again.

Keep rotating the image as you go.

All the way around the frame.

I added a shadow to the oval,
this corner tube to the corners
and gave it a 15 pixel border.

Here are examples of frames
and some flowers I used.
